The Making of "Paper Towels"

I was asked to make a large representation of a 6 pack of paper towels. First, I cut a piece of foam core and spray painted it so that it looked like the three paper towel rolls in the package.

Next, I dissected the design of the graphic on the packaging. From there I designed and cut a large stencil. I used the positive and the negative pieces to spray in the graphic on top of the paper towels I had just made.

Once the background colors are sprayed in on the towels, it's just a matter of using paint markers to fill in the rest of the graphic.
