I was born in Germany in 1969, then was raised on my family's 90 year old dairy farm in rural Western New York. It was there that I developed my love for family, the country and drawing.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia, specializing in the areas of illustration and portraiture. After college I did freelance work for a few years then took a position as a sign maker. I put my full attention into producing high quality, hand-rendered signage.
I eventually became an expert sign maker but my passion was always for my art. In 1999 I met my wife Janice while making signs for her. She has become my greatest inspiration. We were married five years later and started our new life together. Through her love and encouragement I decided to turn my focus back to my art.

I discovered the genre of ACEOs (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) on ebay in 2005 and have been creating them ever since. ACEOs are miniature works of art that measure exactly 2.5 x 3.5 inches. I have a growing audience of devoted collectors throughout the U.S. and overseas.
