I was recently in an office building, in a corner office several stories up. I really understand now why the corner office is so prized. It has the largest amount of natural light and the most extensive view of all the offices in that area. An entire corner of the room is glass... and with the blinds fully open it's almost as if you can step out into mid-air. It's quite beautiful really.
I have decided that I need to nourish my "outdoorsman" soul and make being outside a more regular practice. So, from now on I will be taking regular breaks from the artificial world... and I'll be headed outdoors whenever I can to breath the outside air and feel the wind and sun on my face. I had forgotten how important it all is.
