Cotes du coast

5x10 ink on bristol Wine label illustration for Sans Leige Winery, California.

Here are a couple of shots of the finished bottle.

I love the choice of the foil label. It really adds a lot to the look of the bottle. I didn't know they were going to choose this treatment. The first time I saw the finished bottle I was very pleasantly surprised.

Here is a cool YouTube Video that was made about this wine.

Althought I don't drink myself now (over a month sober now - Yay!) I used to enjoy wine without being much of a successful connoisseur. I'd try to guess with my flatmate what the wine tasted and smelled like before reading the label and could never get much further that 'fruity', 'summer fruits' or 'red berries', which was usually (predicatably) about right. I wathed the youtube clip and would love to buy this wine for my sister and brother-in-law who are finer connoisseurs than I ever was. I live in Scotland and though there is a speciality wine chain called Oddbins nearby where I live I'm not sure I'll be able to get them to stock this as it's limited edition. I see that it's only $22, so not too much in British pounds, but I'm concerned about the possible import price as I am on a strict budget at the moment. Any suggestions as to how I could get hold of this as an import would be greatly really appreciated. Thank you. Love the label art work by the way! Compliments the obvious quality of this wine perfectly.

Hello,
Thanks so much for your comment. Unfortunately I don't have much to offer about how to get this wine in your area. This wine winemaker is a one man operation and doesn't make a large volume of each vintage. The only thing I can suggest is to go to his website and send him a message. Maybe he can send you a bottle or two directly. Google "Sans Liege Winery" and you should fins it. His name is Kurt.
